Ice Cream Truck

Every summer we always hear that familiar song coming from the distance and we know - it's the ice cream truck! Well, here is what Marcus does when he hears it...

Taco Bell

I went through the Taco Bell drive through one afternoon, got a taco and went home. When I bring stuff inside after running errands, I sometimes lay stuff on Tyler's lap to get everything inside in less trips. I got inside, set Tyler down,went to let the dogs out and when I got back to him he had my taco :) thats our boy!

Fathers Day 2010

This was Jason's first "official" fathers day. My brother Doug was in town with his family and we had a great day with my family at my parents. This was the first time any of the Montana Peppmeiers met Tyler. He met his Aunt, Uncle and three new cousins. We were with Jason's family the following weekend at Jason's parent's for a barbeque where Tyler did some skinny dipping. The weather was beautiful!

Another Milestone

6 months... he started sitting up on his own! We have been waiting for this for a while! It's so fun to sit Tyler down with some toys and watch him pick them up and play with them on his own. The tumbles are hard to watch sometimes, as he reaches for something and the weight of his giant head takes him over... but he's learning :) and growing up so fast!

The Buzz Cut

Tyler was born with a ton of curly hair. As time has gone on and he has learned to roll over, his hair starting falling out and rubbing off. It got to the point where he looked like he had a crooked toupe on. One evening I was carrying him around in the baby bjorn, staring at the toupe, and we decided it was time to buzz it, so we did. There were mixed reviews when people saw him for the first time and I heard a lot of "you did what?". We love it!

Marcus and Penny turn 3!

Marcus and Penny both turned 3 this year... hard to believe! After many chewed collars we decided they were finally ready for some "grown up" collars. Marcus now sports a leather Seattle Seahawks collar and Penny has a pretty leather and lime green rhinestone collar, hand made in New York! Happy Birthday puppies!

Rice Cereal

So we just started Tyler on rice cereal with his milk. His first bite he wasn't too sure about the taste, the next few he was trying to figure out this "spoon" that had shown up and after a while he was eating like a champ. I let him play with his spoon and bowl afterwards and get good and dirty before clean up... he likes that too!

Baby Baby Baby

Rolling Over Update

He's rolling over! He could already go from tummy to back but he recently has conquered the more difficult back to tummy. We have entered a whole new world, he can't be left alone, he just starts rolling like crazy... last night we woke up to him on his tummy in bed too!

We have had a lot of change lately... Tyler is growing SO fast! He recently had his 2nd haircut, and as seen below he can now hold his own bottle.

My First Mothers Day

This was my first Mothers Day and what a beautiful day we had! We had really nice weather and enjoyed a relaxing day. We met our parents and my brother for a buffet breakfast and later in the afternoon we had a beer on the deck with Tyler, Marcus, Penny and Spencer... the whole family!

The Trailer

Jason and my Dad have started a "small" project. They are building us a flat bed trailer. Jason has always wanted one and recently they began the process. They are building it from scratch doing all the drawings and welding themselves. I went with Jason last weekend and let the dogs play and Tyler and I cruised around the farm. It just needs some finish work and paint it and it should be done soon!

Bumbo Time

Recently Jason had to fly to San Francisco for work for a few days. As a result, I now have the most respect for all the single working Mom's out there! I have never been so tired! One evening I was making my lunch for the next day and Tyler kept me company in his bumbo. As you can see he is teething :)

Penny has always loved Tyler, since the day she met him! Both the dogs do, we feel so lucky that they are so good with him. Penny has taken it to a new level once again... here is her napping with Tyler and below as you can see we have taught her to change his diapers!
